- From the South take Hwy 62 West to Co Rd 101. Take a right and go North on Co Rd 101 to Minnetonka Blvd. Take a left onto Minnetonka Blvd. School entry is 3 blocks on the left. OR take 494 N to Minnetonka Blvd (Exit 17). Turn right and go west on Minnetonka Blvd (Approx 3 miles)
- From the East take Hwy 7 to Co Rd 101, turn right on Co Rd 101 and go North on Minnetonka Blvd. Take a left onto Minnetonka Blvd. School entry is 3 blocks on the left. OR Take Minnetonka Blvd West.
- From the North take 494 S to Minnetonka Blvd Exit. (First exit so of 394). Turn right on the exit ramp. Turn left on the frontage road. Turn right onto Minnetonka Blvd. Go west approximately 3 miles. OR take 394 to Co Rd 101 (in Wayzata). Take Co Rd 101 South, follow this to Minnetonka Blvd. Turn right on Minnetonka Blvd
Q: Why are practices at such an odd frequency?
A: There are currently 8 soccer teams at ISM and only 1 field. Each of these 8 teams have practices and home games on the ISM field. There is no other area on the ISM campus that is suitable for training. Last year it was very frustrating to compete with other teams for time on the field. We would often be booted from the field minutes after practice began because a game was scheduled to start. This situation made it nearly impossible to define a training plan. For 2008, a master schedule was produced by the ISM athletic department where teams were assigned a set of defined practice times. This will (hopefully) provide better communication among the staff and create an environment conducive to learning and creating better players/teams.
Q: What are players expected to bring to practice?
A: Each player is expected to bring the proper training gear to practice. Players who do not meet these expectations should not expect to fully participate in practice.

- Training Top/Shirt (no school day uniforms/polos)
- Training Bottom/Shorts (no school day uniforms/pants)
- Shin Guards & Soccer Socks
- Soccer Ball - PUMPED UP!

Q: Who is our coach?
A: Jeremiah Johnson is the coach for the 6th grade squad. In 2007, he served as coach for the ISM 5th Grade team. As a coach, Jeremiah has served as a Staff Coach and the Head Goalkeeping Coach for Gregg Thompson's All-American Soccer Academy (now merged with the MN Thunder Camps), Staff Coach for Bangu F.C., Varsity Coach for Rosemount High School, and Head Coach for the University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire. Jeremiah's playing experience includes 6+ years playing within the Olympic Development Program and for Mercer University, a NCAA Division I program in Georgia.
Q: When should players be at the game?
A: All players are expected to arrive 45 minutes prior to game time.
Q: Little Johnny can't make practice? What should we do?
A: It is understandable, especially given the non-traditional practice schedule, that players may have the occasional conflict. Please contact Jeremiah at jeremiah.johnson@biconsultinggroup.com with fair notice so that training plans can be modified accordingly.
