GUNNAR SURVIVES SUCK OUT CITY
In an event filled with bad beats, Gunnar Johnson was able to maintain composure and capture the JBPS Summer Slam title. Adam Ford's luck ran out when he got to the heads-up confrontation with Gunnar Johnson. Each player threw punches, but Johnson's knock out punch prevented Adam Ford from winning his second title in a row.
Bob Johnson's third place finish jumped him 19 spots in the point standings while Jake Schwamb's fourth place finish pushed him 11 spots higher. Both players now have a chance to finish in the top ten in points and share a portion of the Player of the Year prize pool.
